it started in 2021 when i watched jojo because of my then friend (now s/o, luv u starkey! ^3^). about a month or so before i watched part five, i came across a tumblr blog that was one of those 'your fav is blank' blogs. if i remember correctly, it was specifically 'your fav is a pathetic male' maybe? it was a long time ago, and my memory is fuzzy. while scrolling, i came across ghiaccio. i didn't know who he was, but i was definitely excited to watch his episode to see what he was like. when i started watching part five, i wasn't too fond of it's story and characters -- i didn't feel like i was enjoying them as much as other people seemed to. that all changed when i watched the fight between ghiaccio and mista/giorno. i noticed that his stand was titled after the beatles' "white album", and his ability was titled after my favorite song, "while my guitar gently weeps". i was excited beyond relief, finally having actual passion for a fight. not only was his stand named after my favorite things, but i admired his strong resolve as well. his seemingly neverending determination was inspiring to me -- to me, perserverence is crucial. despite his quick passing, he stole my heart. this kindled the raging fire (blizzard, if you will) that was my special interest in him.
